MEGAMAN^® Lamps are Safe

(Hong Kong – 22 Apr 2011) Regarding the recent news on the issue that CFLs would release toxic substances during operation, MEGAMAN^® (Hong Kong) has the following response:

MEGAMAN^® employs water-based adhesive and phosphor coating in the production of its compact fluorescent lamps (Energy saving lamps). NO Phenol is used. Moreover, MEGAMAN^® lamp has implemented the Amalgam technology which is liquid mercury free. What's more, a variety of models are available in silicone protection, making MEGAMAN^® lamps very safe and eco-friendly to use.
